A Good Place To Eat!
Cisco and I splurged a little, well a lot, and went out to a fabulous restaurant. We were seated at a cozy little table with the most elaborate table setting. A cool fan blew at our feet to keep us at a comfortable temperature. We were served a sampling of the most exquisite vegetables that were steamed lightly and sprinkled with seasoning. The rice contained an exotic mixture of spices with a hint of lemon flavor throughout. It was divine. Along with that, we were given native Guatemalan miniature tortillas that were handcrafted before our eyes. The piece de resistance was a large, juicy steak that had been marinated to perfection. The meat melted the instant it touched our tongues. We washed it all down with water as clear and pure as the driven snow melting on a spring day. Here is evidence of our delicious meal:
OK... Actually it was (Chef) Cisco who prepared this lovely meal. I was taking my usual sunday nap when Cisco woke me up to say that dinner was ready. He had been a busy little bee and here I had to show off the fruits of his labors. It was a great present to wake up to. :)
Speaking of bees... It is not a pleasant sight to wake up to them! well not bees, but we have had several mean little wasps in our house and they always fly around our bed. Cisco tried to kill one with a shoe but that stubborn bugger didn't want to die. So Cisco had to take it to the next level. He grabbed some Clorox Bleach spray and sprayed a little puddle (an ocean) of Clorox onto that poor little wasp. It died, and so did I (almost). The smell of bleach stayed in our house for half the day...but at least the wasp was dead...right? I'm glad he's here to kill nasty wasps and bugs and things.
Here he is with his kill of the day:
