Day at the park

Emery and I went to the park the other day with her little cousin and second cousin. She didn't have a nap before we went so I was hoping she would be happy, and she definitely was. She forgot all about sleeping when she got there. We went to Freestone Park, a really pretty park with little rides and a train that goes around the park.
We first went on the train. She was concentrating on trying to see everything so she ended up just looking kind of mad the whole time.
After that we went on the carousel, and she seemed to enjoy it.
Here she is waiting for her turn to ride.

She managed a little half-smile here.
We took some time to feed the ducks too. I was going to bring bread, but I forgot, so I had to settle for some of Emery's Cheerios.

Then we went to the playground to play on the swings-her favorite. It was such a beautiful day and so nice to be able to go outside for a few hours.

She played in the sand and went down the slides, which she wasn't too thrilled about. I think when she's bigger it will be more enjoyable.

Cisco didn't get to go with us because he was working. He works 6 days a week right now. We are very grateful he has that job, but even more grateful and blessed because he got a new job! He will be working as an IT Engineer starting in a couple weeks. It's going to be nice because he can start work as early as 6:30 if he wants, so he can be home early. He also get Saturday and Sunday off. I'm very excited for that, because with him working 6 days a week, we weren't able to do things together during the day.

Yeah! Congrats on the new job! That WILL be so nice to have him home on the weekends.

Lincoln loves going to the park too. I wish that we had nice weather so that we could go!

Emery is so dang cute.
