Camping Trip

Sorry but I just haven't been able to blog lately. We had a ward camp out and it was our first over night as a family. We were not sure what to expect with Emery. We followed someone there because we did not know how to get there. We went to Rose Creek Campground. It was nice to get out of the heat. Emery did a good job on the drive up there. It took about 2.5 hours to get there.

Once we got there we set up camp and got around the fire and had dinner. The Ward provided dinner for us (hot dogs and hamburgers). After that we had some smores and they were great (like Tony the Tiger would say). Some people sang some camp songs until we went to bed. Candace tried to take some pictures of me but for some reasons my eyes would not open. Check below and see; it didn't work out for me, but Emery sure looks cute.

Emery did a good job sleeping through out the night. We woke up the next morning and we had breakfast from the ward. They served us breakfast burritos. They were yummy!!!!! Everyone started packing up because they wanted to see a nearby water fall. They told to us how to get there, so we drove up there by ourselves. We drove and drove and drove and drove and we accidentally passed it, but we ended up driving to the look-out station at the very top of the mountain, and it was a great view. One of our friends told us that we could have walked up to the look-out station. If we would have known that we would have walked up to it, but we still got a pretty good view anyway. After we went back down the trail, we saw some of our ward members and they were by the waterfall so we ended up finding it after all. It was nice to see it and enjoy the great view.
